Position:- IT Project Manager

Duration:- Full time

Location:- Columbus, OH

  • Experienced Project Manager to work in the Information Technology department, managing assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of the project.
  • Scope of Responsibilities:
  • Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
  • Leads interdepartmental teams to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Establishes project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff.
  • Writes, reviews, and/or edits technical and procedural documentation as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft products D365, Great Plains, AX, SQL, SSRS preferred.
  • Minimum five years of IT project management experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate with management, technical and non-technical users.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and procedures.

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science-related field preferred.
  • PMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
