Overview:
As Software Engineer on the Database and Environments Team at The Company in Johnston, IA, you will work with a team of engineers and architects to design and build database and automation solutions for financial services applications. In addition, you will;
Services that enable our Product Scrum teams to quickly and effectively build data management systems that are secure, reliable and perform appropriately. This includes: Database Performance Consulting, Self Service tools and Automation of standard DBA tasks, evolutionary database design to enable continuous delivery without outages. Build and own a complete set of non-prod test environments that have PII masked data that is in sync across all database platforms to support in-depth testing of new functionality and fast delivery of thin slices of data.

Primary Skills:
Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management (2+ years across multiple of these) (High)
Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints (2+ years) (High)
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment (1+ years) (High)
Strong application DBA experience in one or more of the following database technologies. PostgreSQL, DB2 for zOS, SQL Server, Oracle. (high)
Working knowledge of using AWS RDS instances. (1+ years) (High)
