Job Description :

Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer         

Duration: 24 Months

Location: Chicago IL 60661 (Open to fully remote for strong candidates)

Job Description:

Candidate Responsibilities:          

  • Actively participate in daily and weekly Scrum ceremonies.
  • Develop solutions in Java, Python, SQL, or YAML based on User Story requirements.
  • Actively participate in on-line code reviews with peers; leverage CI/CD for delivery of work.

Typical Day:         

  • Will be remote until facility Reopens.

Education Requirement:               

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Technical Skills Required:              

  • - 5+ years of experience in Java development.
  • - 3+ years of experience in writing and deploying code in AWS.

Proven experience in:

  • - Batch or stream processing systems such as Apache Spark, Flink, Akka, Storm
  • - Message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMq, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache ActiveMQ, Kinesis
  • - Datastores such as Redis and Elasticsearch
  • - Cucumber as a testing tool and it’s integration into CI/CD pipelines
  • - Working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum)

Nice to have:

  • - 3+ years of experience in Python, SQL, or Scala development
  • Soft Skills Required         Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated strong initiative with ability to work independently
