The North Carolina Department of Information Technology - Transportation (NCDIT-Transportation) is seeking a Senior .NET/C# Web Application Developer for a 12- month engagement.
***The candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that point the candidate will be required to come onsite.
***The candidate will need to use his or her own computer until he or she starts working onsite. When the candidate is working full time on site, he or she will be given NCDOT equipment.
Seeking a Senior Level .Net/C# Developer to support the development of highly complex, mission critical scoped applications and Platform capabilities in support of the NC Department of Transportation – DMV Call Center. Candidate will be a part of the DMV Systems – STARS Team and will be responsible developing and supporting .Net/C# based REST API services and assist the ServiceNow Developer with building out custom applications within ServiceNow in support of the DMV Call Center. Successful candidates will be able to think critically in solving urgent mission issues, supporting end to end development of both Portal and back-end platform including workflow and custom widgets and must possess detailed understanding and experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio, .Net and .Net Core frameworks. The ideal candidate will also have proven development and implementation experience with enterprise level software development programs with the ability to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and business processes. Candidate must also be able to document the program and project deliverables as assigned. Consult with clients to prototype, refine, and test, and debug applications and processes to meet the requirements.
