Front End Developer

We are now looking for a FED (Front End Developer) that has experience in Salesforce to start ASAP – 16-week project with the possibility for extension or full-time hire.
Front End Developer will be responsible for the visual elements of external and internal facing web applications ensuring there is alignment of web design and user experience. Responsible for translation of UX design (wireframes / prototypes) to actual code, optimizing web page efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across platform.
Post-Secondary degree in information systems or 10+ years related experience.
ê 3+ years of experience using REST and SOAP based web services.
ê 3+ years of hands-on experience developing in ecommerce applications like WebSphere Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or SAP Hybris.
ê 3+ years of frontend development experience including HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS.
ê 3+ years of development experience including .NET, C#, VB.NET and Java.
ê 3+ years of experience with internet protocols including HTTPS, SFTP, SSH.
ê 2+ years of experience in web technologies including Backbone, Underscore, Bootstrap, handlebars, database object query languages,
adaptive and responsive design.
ê Experience working in cloud-based systems such as SaaS (Software as a Service).
ê Experience using version control applications like GitHub.
ê Ability to work as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead and coach technical staff as appropriate.
ê Strong problem-solving skills.
ê General working knowledge of productivity applications such as Microsoft Office.
