DBH is looking for two (2) Field Technicians to assist with mobile device management and technical support.

Complete Description:

The Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) provides prevention, intervention and treatment services and support for children, youth, and adults with mental and/or substance use disorders including emergency psychiatric care and community-based outpatient and residential services. The Office of Information Technology at DBH provided IT services in support of the mission of the agency. The IT team is looking for the support of two (2) field technicians to support the roll out of mobile devices to support telemedicine for residents in the District of Columbia. The ideal resource will have a background in technical support and training of end users in the proper use of Smart phones. This role will include work at various clinical service provider locations as well as potential residences throughout the District of Columbia. The work will also include interacting and communicating with members of the DC Community with mental and or substance use disorders. Duties will include: 1. The management of assets to include cataloging all smart phones in inventory and making sure they have the appropriate asset tag; and cataloging all assets and their assigned user. 2. The training in proper use of smart phones. This may include one-on-one in person, web based training, and classroom settings. 3. Providing first level support of all mobile devices including taking help desk request via phone, email, or IT service management tickets. Working with residents in person at a Clinical Support Provider Location or residence will be required as needed. 4. Working with the installation of applications on Smart Phones and the subsequent security settings. 5. Working with Mobile Device Management tools (i.e Airwatch, InTune or XenMobile) for asset management, update management and endpoint management. 6. Lead day to day enrollment/provisioning/monitoring of smart phones 7. Lead tracking, monitoring, and troubleshooting of smart phones as required 8. These SmartPhones shall be distributed to users at remote locations within the District. This will require appointments to be set up in advance and coordination with the distribution sites shall also be required. 9. Reaching out to telecom service carrier help desks shall also be required to arrange for technical assistance and repair of Smartphones. --------------------------------------------- CONTRACT JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: 1. Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management. 2. Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities. 3. Develops technical applications to support users. 4. Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems. 5. Provides training for system products and procedures. 6. Performs application upgrades. 7. Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications. 8. Troubleshoots problems. 9. Ensures project lifecycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures. Minimum Education/Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
