Providing L2/L3 remote support to multiple customers through remote service delivery model in Request, Incident, Change, and Problem Management aligned to ITIL v3
• Schema/Full database refresh and restoration based on requirement from the customer.
• Preparing POA (Plan of Action), SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for planned technical activities.
• Handling change requests for pre-planned Activities.
• Identification of risks in current setup, recording them in standard format of Risk register & recommending solutions to mitigate those risks.
• Implementing best practices in Oracle databases.
• Deployment of SQL patches provided by customer.
• Automation of day to day activities through shell script.
• Analyzing AWR, STATSPACK with to performance issues.
• Analyzing and performing database performance improvement measures such as index rebuilding, stats gather table re-org activities on weekly and monthly basis.
• Troubleshooting issues by coordinating and analyzing with different domains.
• Working on performance issues of oracle production databases.
• Develop and deploy scripts for monitoring or automated tasks on request/as required from Client, using Windows Scheduler/Cron & report will be automatically generated.
• DR drill activity for every quarter.
• Getting application requirement to build new database and migration
• Upgradation of oracle Databases from 10g to 11g and 11g to 12c and Database patching
• DR Switchover and Switchback for Oracle Databases
• Knowledge in Exadata Technology
• Monitoring, Maintaining and troubleshooting the issues in Exadata environment systems
• Monitoring, Maintenance, upgradation and housekeeping activities in ASM databases
• RAC database installation on ODA servers
• Knowledge about Exadata specified features such as Smart Scan, HCC Hybrid Columnar Compression , Flash Cache
• Maintaining Oracle Rac environment
• Basic Knowledge in Golden gate
• Involved in environment setup and installation of Oracle database
