WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Own ETL architecture, development and integration of applications / systems
2. Design and develop solutions through to implementation
3. Leverage multiple approaches and technologies for designing, developing, testing, debugging applications
4. Partner with the supported business area(s), align strategy with related objectives and challenges
5. Stay curious while leading the team and as part of the leadership triangle
6. Be an internal consultant, and mentor to more junior with task-level leadership, guidance, and direction
7. Lead efforts on code accuracy and quality, while achieving business objectives
8. Pursue Operational Excellence in all endeavors through continuous process improvements
9. Keep an eye on security and privacy to protect Company data
10. Physical Activity: Extensive or prolonged typing/keyboarding Sitting over 66% of the time and Visual Acuity at 20 inches (or less) over 66% of the time
ABOUT YOU:
1. Professionally solved challenges for integration and implementation over the last six or more years with:
a. SQL, Informatica, Relational Databases, Multiple Scripting Languages (Unix / Window), API Integration
b. Data Warehouse Design, Data Modeling and Integration
2. Advocate the Agile mindset and iterative development process
3. Drive coding quality through establishing coding standards
4. Lead the solution design process and technology direction
5. Steer productive team communication, mentor and collaborate on problem solving
6. Positively impact team success by multi-tasking and adapting to priority changes
7. Possess architect level knowledge core technologies, yet still driven to pick-up new tech through research and investigation
8. Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related degree or equivalent work experience
VALUABLE EXPERIENCE:
1. DB2, Oracle, Teradata, Data Streams (ex. Kafka), Business Intelligence Tools (ex. Tableau)
2. Java or Mainframe and experience in other technologies is a great value add
3. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Cloud-Based Data Warehousing
