Description:

May perform some or all of the below duties depending on area of assignment: 

  • Create and maintain project submittal log 

  • Ensure Bill of Material accuracy

  • Create part number requests

  • Assists with tag generation

  • Performs continuity, tag check, and breakdown testing  

  • Modify design drawings using CAD and/or Drafting Standards 

  • Calls vendors for material or ordering information 

  • Assists with parts research need for new designs 

  • Interface with mechanical engineering department to facilitate new assembly needs

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. 

  • HS diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Experience with CADD (AutoCAD/Microstation) and reading electrical schematics or blueprints. 

  • Experience in a factory or field environment using electrical tools, measurements and wiring circuits. 

  • Demonstrates a comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices. 

  • Generally, up to 2-4 years of successful experience in the area of responsibility.
