Position:Software Embedded engineer

Location:Stow, MA

Job Description:

Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
•   Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
•   Strong software development skills and knowledge/experience in software engineering best practices (i.e. OOD, modularity, extensibility, reusability and maintainability)
•   Strong Debugging skills using tools such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Emulators and hardware based debuggers
•   Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
•   Familiarity with GNU make and build systems
•   Experience with software configuration management tools (SVN), requirements management tools(JAMA), defect tracking tools (JIRA), and peer review (Crucible)
•   Experience in reading schematics and data sheets for components
•   Knowledge in Agile methodology and CMMi/ASPICE processes
•   Quick Learner, excellent verbal and written technical communication skills
•   Ability to technically mentor a small team
