Role: Duck Creek Tech lead
Location: New Hartford, NY
Emp: Contractual through IMPLEMENTATION PARTNER
Duration: 12+ months
Experience: 8+ years

Job Description:
1. Tech lead for Dev+QA team handling support for a large scale PAS implementation; for implementation, maintenance and support of PAS for Commercial Lines
2. Primary technical client connect at onsite for the team; partnering with a Business Analyst
3. Along with the BA, Lead interactions with client for resolution of production problems for implemented PAS
4. Lead development of enhancements and changes to production system, including understanding of requirement, effort estimation and schedule planning
5. Lead the offshore DC Dev and QA team in delivery of problem resolution and implementing enhancements
6. Collaborate with implementation team for problem resolution and implementation of enhancements
7. Adopt standard processes for documenting resolutions, technical specs, efforts, etc.
Requirement for profile:
1. Total Experience of 8-10 years with at least 4-5 years hands-on experience with the Duck Creek Policy Admin System (PAS) product.
2. In depth knowledge of Duck Creek PAS platform
3. Experience working in Commercial lines of business (LOB) : Commercial Property, Commercial Package Policy, Inland Marine, Crime and General Liability
4. Hands-on experience with Skins, Manuscript, Rating and able to take trace from various systems
5. Experience / knowledge of integration of Duck Creek with other applications using service bus and EI tools
6. Experience in troubleshooting production system
7. Experience in Tech lead role :
a. ability to do review and identify defects in team’s work product
b. ability to guide team at offshore
c. ability to perform estimation and planning
d. ability to allocate work to team, track and report progress on allocated tasks
8. Good communication and client interaction skills
9. Ability to understand architecture and performance aspects; and have discussions with senior DC architect
