Important Note: The selected contractor(s) will be required to come in person to the LBJ Building to obtain CPA equipment, badge and initial assignments.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:
• Work with the cross-functional business team to understand business problem, design & architect the best solution.
• Analyze and research architecture patterns, design and implement software modifications keeping CPA’s architecture vision and strategy in mind
• Analyzes requirements and specifications, develops, architects/designs, and coordinates the implementation of .Net applications and REST services with SQL Server back end.
• As part of the application development team, takes lead to solve technical challenges with industry best practices; engage with hands-on programming for front-end and back-end.
• Addresses and resolves complex technical issues with internal/external customers, builds good communication protocols and updates management team with the weekly/monthly status.
• Prepares and Implements environment strategy and works with the infrastructure and DevOps engineers to ensure completeness
• Lead, design & implement continuous integration and continuous deployment CI-CD strategy
• Performing extensive code reviews and analysis.
• Writing reports on code analysis to determine if industry standards and best practices are being followed; provide analysis to address found shortcomings.
• Providing guidance and knowledge sharing to new/existing development staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
7 Required Experience with design and implementing Microsoft based architecture patterns with event driven development
7 Required Experience with full-stack javascript based front end and WebAPI backend
7 Required Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript
5 Required Experience with React.JS, Redux, NodeJS
5 Required Experience with architecting and implementing microservices and RESTful interfaces and micro-frontends
5 Required Experience with SQL Server and using extensive SQLs
5 Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements using JWT/OAuth 2.0 based authentication; API authentication, File-transfer, system-to-system authentication etc…
5 Required Experience with .NET Core
2 Required Experience with Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban
5 Preferred Experience working with enterprise software solutions
3 Preferred Experience developing APIs using MuleSoft API development platform or using MuleSoft API Gateway
3 Preferred Experience with knowledge transfer to junior level web developers
3 Preferred Experience with WCAG 2.0 Standards, 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility
2 Preferred Experience with Splunk, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Xray.
2 Preferred Experience with ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ or similar messaging queue tool
2 Preferred Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
2 Preferred Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket and Confluence
