Position: .NET Developer
Location: Smithfield, RI
Duration: 6+ months (strong possibility of extn)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or other related discipline.
Strong development skills and 7+ years of software development experience, including C#/.Net, Objective C, Swift, Java and Spring technologies.
Expertise with Microsoft .Net framework, preferably .Net 4.5 or higher.
Expertise with SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
Practical experience with the following technologies and tools: .Net, Microsoft WPF and WebAPI, Spring (MVC, Boot, Cloud Config), iOS, Xcode, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, tcServer, Jenkins, JIRA, Udeploy and Git.
Awareness of the strengths/limitations of current and developing technologies.
DevOps and cloud computing skills desirable.
Purpose of Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Intermediary Sales Technology team, you will help us build solutions that focus on our Sales team’s needs and optimize quality and deployment practices. You’ll help with the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment; as a member of an agile, multi-functional team. You will mentor junior developers, ensure standard methodologies are being followed and motivate and support the growth and development of your peers.
