Job Description :
Key responsibilities will include:
· Planning, analyzing and defining solutions for complex legacy systems through technical expertise
· Ensures the consistency and maintainability of Technical Solutions by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing the technical solutions.
· Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform
· Collaborates with stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate implementation methodology, project milestones and system functionality
· Acts as subject matter expert and makes recommendations to the Virtusa internal teams and client stakeholders
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team in design and implementation software components.
· Reviews all designs, code and unit test plans.
· Prepare development estimates, respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
· Assists in tracking the progress of the development to ensure established goals are met and ensure on-time delivery.
Required Skills:
· Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
· Strong problem-solving skills
· 10+ years of complete SDLC experience with at least 5+ years of experience in leading and migrating complex legacy solutions into J2EE/Microservices based architecture
· Strong development experience in .Net Core, .Net framework, C# & SQL Server
· Experience on defining and implementing CD/CI Process
· Possess in-depth knowledge of ORM solutions and experience with Oracle, SQL / MS SQL
· Familiarity with server architectures, Cloud, Microservices, and distributed systems
· Ability to be adapt and prioritize
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
· Experience in grooming and mentoring team members
· Experience in following agile methodology and/or working in scrum teams
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with clearly communicate designs, thoughts, and ideas and ability to adjust the communications based on the audience
