Job Description
Client has an 'Office of Modern Architecture' (OMA) which basically operates as a CoE for Enterprise IT Architecture (governance, standards, processes, training, etc.). The OMA currently has a intranet site which allows access to content, templates, etc. for users across the enterprise. However, the current intranet site (on-premise with a SharePoint backend) is basically just a "site" and needs to repurposed into more of a "portal" which will require heavy modernization efforts, including a complete rebuild in the UI (in Angular) with a cloud backend (in Azure).
Below is the client job description:
Full stack developers will be comfortable with both front-end and back-end development. Will be required to see a project from conception to final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Will be a part of an Agile team, expected to attend Agile ceremonies and provide regular progress updates.
Basic Job Functions & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting various new and existing Angular and/or React web applications
• Maintaining awareness of web industry best practices, security, and standards, etc.
• This role will be asked to help contribute to maturing development processes and assisting teammates
• To both collaborate with the team and other stakeholders on larger features as well as work independently on smaller ones.
• Ensure business requirements are included and appropriately tested
• Steward engagement progress to stakeholders & discuss scope change and impact regularly (requirements management)
• Clearly articulate and define acceptance criteria for work items
Technical skill requirements
Technical Skills:
• Write clean, concise, robust and well-documented code
• Write modular and testable code
• Strong understanding of unit testing and CI/CD (pipeline automation etc.)
• Strong understanding of HTML5 Semantics
• Proficient in Object oriented CSS and SASS
• Proficient in JavaScript (i.e. understands the core functionality of JavaScript, especially ES6 syntax)
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks: Angular (latest) or React
• Experience with task runners (i.e. Webpack)
• Experience with package management and dependency injection
• Experience with ASP.Net and .Net Core
• Experience with implementing modern authentication (OIDC)
• Experience with working with design systems (e.g. Unity, Bootstrap, or Material.)
• Strong understanding of APIs (building and consuming)

• Experience with designing responsive web sites
