This position is housed under Application Support Division I (ASD I) of the Office of Information Systems (OIS) in direct support of the TANF 2.0 CATCH Application redesign and other related projects. DHS’s OIS/Application Support Division I is looking for two (2) Senior Application Developers whose primary responsibilities include design, development, delivery and enhancement of Client-Server/Web-Based/Cloud-Based/Mobile Software Applications using application software development languages/environments with .NET/ASP/Visual C#. Candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of business aligned IT services. Ensuring the application platform is of high quality, defects free and adheres to industry standards for development, testing and deployment methodologies. Must have experience with .NET/ASP/Visual C#, SQL Server, SQL/Procedural Language. Hands on experience with any of the following is favorable: Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP and WebLogic. Summary

This position reports to the Security Risk Compliance Office Manager, Information Technology Office of the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprises (FTE). The Network Administrator is a key member of the Network Operations team. Incumbent will have advance knowledge and hands-on experience in deployment and management of routers, switches, and can proactively troubleshoot the organization’s complex Network Infrastructure. Experience with Cisco, Brocade, Ruckus, and SolarWinds is essential.

Responsibilities

-  Management of Layer 2 and 3 protocols including routers and switches. Focus on sustaining the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring network activity to mitigate performance problems.

-  Proactively monitor and troubleshoot connectivity for the FTE’s Network Infrastructure including campus, roadside, backbone, LAN, Walk-in Centers, partner networks and third-party connectivity.

-  Review FTE’s network architecture and design including failover capabilities and recommend changes to optimize performance and reliability.

-  Ensure that network segmentations are adequately designed to protect sensitive environments including PCI, Financial, and customer data.

-  Leverage SolarWinds to create dashboards to proactively monitor entire Network Infrastructure and proactively troubleshoot performance, connectivity including management reporting dashboards.
