Job Description :

Position: Desktop Support Engineer(Linux)- L3

Location: Fremont, CA

 

 (Onsite day 1)

The required resources would be responsible for:

  • General support of Windows Desktop and Server systems as well as Linux in lab environments
    • Patch management
    • General security control compliance
    • Application troubleshooting associated with OS configuration or patching
    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
    • Use ticketing system and maintain data, respond to email requests from customers seeking help.
    • Write training manuals.
    • Train lab users.
    • Maintain daily performance of lab computer systems.
    • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
    • Resolve basic technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and other systems.
    • Install computer peripherals for users.
    • Follow up with lab customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
