Job Description :
DB2 DBA - The Client is looking for an IBM Mainframe Database Administrator=
to provide database administration support for the Unemployment Compensati=
on Mainframe and Insurance Mainframe. An important aspect of this work incl=
udes advising the CTO on all activities involving enterprise mainframe oper=
ations and services. These responsibilities are inclusive of the planning, =
design, implementation, and maintenance of information technology systems. =
Work is performed independently under the general direction of the EBR CTO.
Required Skills:
* IBM IMS Database version 14.1/15.1 or above
* IBM DB2 Database version V11/V12 or above
* IBM DB2 Administration Tools
* IBM IMS Solution and Recovery Packs
* Writing and maintaining JCL version V2R2/V2R3
* Management and implementation of backup and recovery strategies=
for DB2 and IMS databases
* IMS DBRC
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Experience administering IBM IMS Database version 14.1/15.1 or above5 Years=
Required
Experience administering IBM DB2 Database version V11/V12 or above5 Years R=
equired
Experience supporting application system development life cycle5 Years Requ=
ired
Experience with IBM DB2 Administration Tools5 Years Required
Experience with IBM IMS Solution and Recovery Packs5 Years Required
Experience writing and maintaining JCL version V2R2/V2R35 Years Required
Experience managing and implementing backup and recovery strategies for DB2=
and IMS databases5 Years Required
Experience working with IMS DBRC5 Years Required
Experience with Unemployment Compensation Systems Highly Desired
Certifications in IBM DB2 for z/OS Highly Desired
