We don t need a very core Vertica DBA. We need a DBA (Oracle/SQL/DB2) who has got some vertica experience which is mandatory
JOB DESCRIPTION
Experience in performance tuning and resolve bottlenecks in CPU, memory, disk I/O and network related issues
Perform database and query performance tuning and upgrades
Perform general technical troubleshooting and give recommendation to application team
Experience in Capacity Planning on database
Must have Shell Scripting experience and Agile environment is a plus
Experience in VMC tool
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills
