Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada. Bachelor???s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree 7+ years of experience with Information Technology 3+ years of development experience in creating Logical and Physical Data model and understanding of the Source systems in Insurance Domain. ?? Good experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data Should be self-driven, innovative and research oriented, develops solutions tailored to addressing specific problems/ needs Should be able to identify the client / market needs and propose impactful solutions Should have very good understanding of SDLC, data modelling and data management Should be adapt in agile execution methodologies Should be a good team player and possess capability to lead a team of data modelers Participates in proof of concept executions, architecture discussions and validates complex technical solution when required Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, we are not able to sponsor at this time Preferred Qualifications: ?? At least 7 years of experience in software development life cycle At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on creating Data Models 5+ years of experience in Relational Modeling Data and Modeling of Unstructured Data on distributed databases. Should be aware of best practices specific to Insurance Good understanding of the Source systems in Insurance domain and data architecture Good expertise in impact analysis due to changes or issues Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models. Evaluating existing data systems. Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows. Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system. Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models. Updating and optimizing local and metadata models. Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems Experience with Jira & Confluence Prior experience with migration projects from on premise to cloud would be a plus Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
