Need someone close to Wisconsin. Data Warehouse Analyst with Tableau experience. This position will start remote and eventually go onsite. Need someone seeking a new role that will go ON SITE in Madison, WI. Daa warehouse Analyst Madison, WI 3+ years The candidate will be a strong technical leader responsible for BI Dashboard Reporting projects using Tableau, gathering, understanding & documenting user requirements, creating specifications, designing solutions, development, testing, and implementing solutions that ensure requirements are achieved through high quality deliverables. Strong experience in designing visualizations that are efficient and communicate required message. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing standards, and best practices in the use of Tableau Software. Knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft Financials and HCM data for reporting purposes. Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning and ensure security of data. Proven experience and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Experience working with data warehouses and dimensional data models as a data source for dashboard development. Work with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements, and recommend & implement solutions. Work with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment performing a variety of complex tasks. Requires advanced skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline. Ideal candidate will have experience designing BI dashboard solutions, development experience in Tableau Software, strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials & HCM, and be familiar with DOT business areas. DW & BI Knowledge areas: 1. Tableau Software - 2019.2 2. Dashboard design 3. Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server 4. SQL development 5. Data warehouse/data marts using Kimball & Inmon methodologies 6. Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schemas 7. Slowly Changing Dimensions
