Job Description :
Work with product managers, analysts and clients to better understand the business problem
Think through a business problem and formulate approach based on success criteria, design experiment
Collaborate with other Data Scientists and Analysts on contemporary data science research that could be applied to valuable business opportunities; discover potential enrichment data
Perform exploratory data analysis to validate business understanding and context
Test data for signal; feature selection and correlation analysis
Train and tune the model and set up meaningful tests for assessing model health
Collaborate with product managers to find the best way to present results
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Advanced understanding of time-series forecasting (Arima model) for commodities/equities trading or supply chain demand planning
Experience with advanced techniques in non-linear dimensionality reduction and/or manifold learning to leverage large amounts of enrichment data for feature extraction
Experience with cloud-based development environment for storage and model training; AWS, Google Cloud, Azure
An advanced Degree (Masters or PhD) in Physics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or Statistics.
