DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:TWC is seeking a Data Modeler with experience to:-Document the “as-is” schemas currently in use at TWC specifically in Informix, and SQL Server database environments.-Document database process that currently extract the data from the existing system for reporting purposes.-Create data models and reverse and forward engineer data models in an, AWS SQL Server.-Help document the technical architecture of existing databases at TWC that would act as data sources for the data warehouse. -Create source to target mapping documentation to facilitate future maintenance of the target databases.- Create source to target mapping documentation to facilitate data conversion from legacy Informix database to a new SQL Server database.-Define and document the technical architecture of the new on-line SQL Server database as well as the data warehouse, including the physical components and their functionality, data models and data dictionaries.-Coordinate activities with the rest of the development teams including developers and testers; Assist in promoting database objects from lower to higher environments.-Perform other analysis and documentation tasks as required to facilitate and support the project.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:Years Skills/Experience8 Data modeling in Oracle Enterprise Edition or SQL Server8 Analyzing and generating technical requirements and design8 Creating and maintaining data models in a transactional and data warehouse environment8 Database development experience utilizing Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, RDBMS8 Database tuning techniques8 Analyzing source databases, source data, source database referential integrity and profiling source data6 ERWin data modeling software3 Creating source to target mapping documentation2 Experience with SQL Server in AWS Preferred:Years Skills/Experience 1 Experience with TWC environment and technology platforms 1 Experience with TWC business processes and data sources
