Job Title: Data Engineer (Test Automation)

Location: NYC, NY (Remote till Covid)

Duration: 1 year

Skills Required:

Experience with Visual Studio Python
Experience in testing webservices/APIs using SOAP and REST protocols (4 years minimum)
Practical experience with designing automated test scripts using commercial test automation tools like UFT/QTP, and open-source test tools like Selenium WebDriver with Page Object Model
Experience with functional and regression testing applications with browser-based UI
Experience with Azure DevOps (Former TFS), ALM Quality Center and Rational Suite
Experience using SQL query language to build and use queries for testing and data preparation purposes
Experience handling various file formats as source of test data and as means of configuration, including but not limited to Java property files, CSV, XML, JSON, Excel
Good understanding of HTML specifics needed for test automation, multi-tier application architecture, and concept of relational databases

Nice to Have:

Programming experience in developing with Java (preferable), C#, C++, Python, C VB/VBA/VBScript
Understanding of performance testing process and tools
Understanding of the XML schemas and data models
Experience with ReadyAPI and TestEngine
