Role : Data Engineer Role
Location : Raleigh Durham, NC

Data Engineer:
Assemble complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements in digital landscape. A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from varied disconnected datasets.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, etc.
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases (SQL Server, Oracle…)
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
Strong project management and organizational skills. Great attention to detail and very proactive in seeking potential roadblocks to success.
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Produce systems documentation and technical specifications for solutions delivered.
5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role, preferably degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field.
Candidates should also have experience using the following software/tools:
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure & Adobe preferably (and/or Google/AWS) as it relates to data management.
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, SQL, Java etc.
Experience with systems such as Informatica ETL, Tealium, Adobe Experience Platform
