Data & Analytics Development Engineer

Role Definition: Data & Analytics developers are people who works with ETL (extract data, transform it, and load it) tools like Informatica, enterprise reporting tools like Tableau, Business objects. These people are also capable on working on Hadoop platforms.
Skills required:
o Very skilled in Python and DataStage coding and development
o Very skilled in performing Python/Data Stage Code reviews
o Very skilled in Data Modeling with both Oracle and SQL Databases
o Cloud experience (AWS/GCP) is required.
o Data architecture experience is a plus.

• Very strong in the following areas DW methodologies, Data Marts, Cloud experience (preferably GCP), Data Ingestion via multiple API methods, Python, DataStage, Linux
• Nice to have Guidewire, Autosys, developing Architecture and Dataflow diagrams
• Self-motivated, thorough with quality work they do, work with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and communication skills, effective communication is essential as team dynamics change quickly
• No customer service skills are needed but will interact with internal business partners
• Insurance is strongly preferred but not mandatory
• 10 years of experience
