Position: Data & Reporting Analyst (SQL + Excel) Location: 100% ONSITE 5xweek from Day 1 ? NO EXCEPTIONS ? STAMFORD CT Duration: 3 month extendable contract to HIRE Must Haves: Strong SQL skills Joins (what does this conceptually mean ? do they know what they are joining? Why are they joining it) Pulling data and transform the data to build reports in excel or Tableau Advanced excel skills Understand what they are outputting and relating it to the business How do we get from point a to point b Understanding why they are hitting roadblocks Tableau dashboarding expeirence Exposure to automation (VBA or python or any other langauge) Less than a year expeirnece or some sort of course is enough experience. They will look to train on this if needed Nice to Haves: Automation development experience (Python or VBA) Really understanding the block, understanding the type of questions to ask for They just need to wrangle the data. Doing Join, and really understanding that. Data visualization, in the sense, in the relationship and how it correlates the business. Conceptualizing what they are providing. Less of the technical methodology. What does it mean and how does it relate. Reporting analyst BUILDING REPORTS , in excel and Tableau They will talk about WORKFLOW: 1. Getting a requirement 2. Talking with the consumer to explain a requirement 3. Coming up with the solution, in terms of targeting the data set needed. 4. They are wrangling and pulling the data 5.
