Position: QAD EDI Programmer Analyst
Location: Fremont, CA
Job Description:
· Experience creating and updating QAD EDI files
o For example; 855, 856, 810, 865, 997, etc.
· Mapping documents to and from various formats including but not limited to ANSI X12, XML, and flat file layouts utilizing ODBC connectivity.
· Experience with CIMLoads, QAD EDI report customizations,
· Setup communications for EDI transmissions - including but not limited to: AS2, FTP and VAN setups
· Participate in testing for system upgrades or customizations for transactions set, inbound or outbound
· Creating and maintain technical and functional EDI specifications and process documentation
· Collaborate with internal business partners as well as external teams on project enhancements and new project setups
· Document new requirement specifications, process workflows. Provide feedback on design and setup during review meetings with Senior Analysts and IT Manager
· Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and efficiencies that support department and corporate goals.
· Develop and setup project plans, while maintain project documentation and providing time/effort estimates throughout implementation.
· Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction, collaboration and self-learning
· Excellent multi-tasking skills requires to carry out multiple projects at one time
· Highly collaborative approach with team members, management, and colleagues; must be an active and participative team member committed to the success of the entire team and not just individual goals
