Job Title: Software Configuration Management Engineer Job description: Intel Product Development group is Iooking for an engineer to help manage the application and infrastructure monitoring flow and automation across the globe.
1. Required Qualifications:
a. Strong Monitoring tools and Reporting capabilities using New Relic.
b. Experience combining New Relic with Big Panda to gain actionable insights
c. Strong Experience with CI/CD methodologies, workflows, configuration management, and tools such as Jenkins
d. Linux/Windows system administration
e. Scripting and automating administration tasks like Python, Bash, PowerShell
f. Web application hosting and troubleshooting experience (ISS, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx)
g. High Availability / Load Balancing / Redundancy
h. File storage technologies NFS, LVM
i. Technical troubleshooting skills for both system performance and network connectivity issues.
j. Deep knowledge in any of the following: automated monitoring, CI tools (Continue Integration tools like Jenkins), auto-scaling, Infrastructure as Code (IaC),
k. Experience with automation frameworks like: Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin, Gauge
2 Preferred Qualifications:
a. Between 7 to 10+ years of experience with any of the following:
b. Artificial Intelligence capabilities setup using new Relic.
c. Technical leadership roles, driving innovative solutions
d. Container technologies: Docker / Kubernetes / Rancher
e. Public and Hybrid clouds technologies, (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc)
f. Transactional Databases MySQL, MS SQL, Postgres
g. Agile methodology (SCRUM) experience.
Required experience/knowledge of any specific IT Systems/Software:
New Relic and Big Panda
Minimum Education requirement: Bachelor's degree
Certifications are a plus
Team environment:
The CW will be working within a Project team built up with other CW, a Project Manager and big group of Technical Leads for each one of our Scrum Teams.
