Job Title : ColdFusion Developer

JOB SUMMARY
Designs and builds public-facing websites, intranets, portals and online
solutions including existing and new web development for community and the
Information Technology (IT) organization.
Develops and sustains a wide variety of web and online solutions in a
complex, multi-platform environment, using the data, community services and
content to inform and assist residence countywide.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Nine (9) years of related experience or a Bachelor''s degree from an
accredited college or university in Information Technology, or other closely
related field, plus four (4) years of related experience; OR an equivalent
combination of related education and experience.

Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements,
envisioning system features and functionality, and executes the goals.
Collaborates effectively with creative team and web designers.
Designs and develops user interfaces to internet/intranet
applications by setting expectations and feature priorities with users
throughout development life-cycle; determines design methodologies and tool
sets; designs, codes and conducts user acceptance.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and
server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network
systems, search engines, and information servers.
Ensures effective development life-cycle by coordinating
requirements, schedules, and activities; troubleshooting development issues
and production problems across multiple environments and operating
platforms.
Ensures ongoing support and maintenance is met, including internal
tech support and external engagements.
Partners with business analysts, project managers and other web
developers to guide the projects to fruition.
Supports and develops web application developers.
Works closely with the IT security team to ensure web
vulnerabilities are protected through development and through the education
of users.
