Position : Cassandra DB With GCP Experience : 12+ years for onshore Location : USA ONLY remote Skills required: We need an SRE profile not just DBA. Candidate should have experience in managing clusters, DR, backup etc. The team is looking for someone with significant Cassandra on GCE experience. Cassandra DB on GCP: Implementation Advisory - Review the Cassandra migration plan and share leading practices and recommendations for GCP design and migration
- Review performance testing results provided by the Customer and provide advice regarding performance tuning, scale testing, and monitoring business SLAs
- Provide guidance and recommendations for the Customer's operations and engineering teams in identification of first mover workloads and implementation planning relating to them
- Provide recommendations in view of considerations of latency, high-availability on GCP, performance and other technical objectives on GCP
- Provide leading practices on load balancing and secrets management, to the extent relevant to scope in Workstream
