Job Description :
C/C++ Developer
Duration: 12 month contract
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Required Skills :
C++, C. Candidates must have excellent knowledge in C++ and C in order to be considered for this position.
Any candidates without C/C++ will be ruled out. Java knowledge is secondary for this position.
They are rewriting code from mainframe systems into a distributed system.
Candidates also need excellent communication skills as well
Job Description :
Must-Have:
Ability to understand C and C++ and re-write / rebuild applications and services in Java and .JSP JS
Ability to design, develop, and deploy applications and services in a containerized environment using Java, .JSP JS, XML, SQL, Custom Development
Experience with migrating application / services (re-write and re-build) from legacy to cloud-based platforms
Proven experience with application and platform modernization
Ability to understand of High Availability Design and Architecture
Experience with microservices architecture design and implementation
Strong knowledge of test-driven development, automated testing, and proper test design
Experience with databases - DB2, Oracle, MYSQL
Preferred:
5 - 7 years related experience in a application modernization / platform modernization
Strong knowledge of ETL, Data Transfer, and Data Access methodologies
Strong knowledge of Data Replication, Data Ingestion, Data Archival technologies
Strong knowledge of Web Solutions (Apache, AWS, Perl etc
Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS / Cloudera)
Experience with Angular Python and JS
Experience with developing UI/UX systems using Angular JS, JS
Experience with using platform monitoring and cloud infrastructure management
Experience with platform scalability, identity management, and access management for cloud platforms
Strong Analytical, Problem Solving/Troubleshooting skills
Strong Interpersonal/Communication skills
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
