Responsibilities:
Creating documents including Requirements Document, Root cause analysis and Mapping Documents as part of the project.
Participate in Joint Application Development sessions with different teams including technical architects, business users, database teams, infrastructure, security teams etc.
Preparing workflow diagrams to assess as-is and to-be scenarios, design new process flows and document the business process and business scenarios.
Capturing current state models using MS Visio to describe the design, architecture, and behavior of the system.
Developing and maintaining tasks on Azure DevOps to track the progress of the project.
Work on production support tickets, using MS SQL Server 2012 for analysis.
Create test case document to support it & discuss with business stakeholders to refine & expand on it.
Documenting various current processes & guidelines for various departments.
Working with stakeholders in analyzing issues & its business impact.
Work on solutions to improve efficiency in the process & current workflows for the new system.
Understanding the UI flow & function capabilities of the prospective systems in sandbox environment.
Initially was part of system evaluation team, Furo, while also interacted with other teams from data architect, developers, IT operations, infrastructure etc. to gather data on various aspects of these new applications.
Transitioning to core claims application team named, Bushido, for EDI support, analysis, enhancement & testing.
Responsible for EBIX reporting & creating ad-hoc reports for business users.
Querying database tables to make requested changes by stakeholders.
Collaborate with EBIX & other 3rd party vendors to ensure smooth operation.
Outline the critical data points for business users & document them for reference.
Evaluating data quality & security parameters surrounding the new systems.
Understanding & identifying the critical data points of the current application & how they translate into the new system & the business value obtained.
Analyzing the existing data structures & how will that fit in the future state.
Documenting details of the application current state to profile potential problem areas in the system & how the new application resolves them.
Quantify the business value of various advantages & functionalities of the new system.
Compile a satisfactory report for the management executives to review & outlined the project outcome for leadership team to make informed decisions
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements for the position of Business Systems Analyst (Business Intelligence Analyst)
Minimum Education - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum Experience – Up to two (2) years of experience
