Pay rate: DOE/ Negotiable Business Process Consultant- BPR Washington DC Long Term Client: The Department of Housing and Urban Development Note: Ideally someone who worked at HUD/US citizen prefrred Desired Experience/Education Experience in managing two or more large programs or concurrent management of multiple complex projects Experience developing project plans, white papers, proposals and formal presentations; and Master's degree in business administration or other related technical or scientific discipline. The Contractor shall provide Business Process Re-engineering Support as specified under the individually awarded task orders. Business Process Re-engineering, a widely accepted business strategy methodology is aimed to help organizations fundamentally retool how they do their work in order to dramatically improve customer service and cut operational costs. The Contractor shall use industry "best practice" consulting techniques to model existing and future processes. Examples of Business Process Re-engineering Support include, but are not limited to the following: Perform a Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) analysis considering cross-functional and intra-/inter-department process flows Provide an executive summary to address the performed analysis, possible strategies to address risk and a risk mitigation plan Perform an As-Is/To-Be Gap Analysis to identify differences between business process flows as they are now, and what they will be in the future. Based on the analysis, the Contractor shall make comprehensive recommendations covering all aspects of implementing the new processes. These recommendations shall cover, at minimum, staffing, training, automation, business rules, management directives, process improvement metrics, monitoring systems, transparency, record keeping, data flow, or other business process areas as required by individual task orders; Identify and communicate the need for Change Support OCIO leadership to establish Key Performance Indicators; and Develop communications training materials to support stakeholder engagement and rollout procedures.
