Job Title: Business Analyst (Technical) 

Location: Bothell, WA 98011 

Duration: 12 - 24+ Months with possible extensions

***candidate required to be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National*** 

Due to COVID-19 this position will begin remote; however once restrictions lift candidate will be expected to return to the office at lease 2-3 days per week.  

Required Skills:

eCommerce Domain: 

Preferred Skills / qualification  

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field experience  

• 5+ years’ experience in an eCommerce environment with proven track record of managing online aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle  

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives. By using tools like A e Analytics/Omniture/Site Catalyst.

* Expert knowledge of SQL and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, A e) is required. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders  

Roles & Responsibilities:  

• Identifies business needs and design measurement plans including data collection and instrumentation  

• Design experiments and recommend KPIs and metrics to address information needs of internal clients  

• Provide analytical guidance to projects that typically span multiple organizations and may also include outside suppliers/vendors  

• Able to query databases using SQL to extract, integrate, assemble and prepare data frames for analyses  

• Visualize results (e.g., using Tableau, Excel), prepare presentations and present findings to audiences. 

1) Assesses and/or formulating strategic and/or tactical plans based on company business initiatives.  

2) Manages large and important projects affecting business units across the Company.  

3) Prepare detail plans, detail schedules, resource allocation and assignment, critical path analysis, methodology, coordination within all IT functions, and conducting budget analyses.  

4) May be involved in user requirement definition, recommending business solutions/alternatives, assisting in RFP development and evaluations, and assisting clients in defining new services that ride on new technologies. 

5) May also be responsible for analysis of existing business processes, design and implementation of streamlined processes and leading client organizations in the identification, planning and implementation of business process solutions.  

6) Works as a liaison to clients and other IT organizations as a subject matter expert on the business processes they represent.  

7) May coordinate, evaluate and partner with technology vendors and outside consultants as needed.
