Title: Business Analyst Duration: 2 Year + Location: Sparks, Nevada Job Description The Division seeks the services of an experienced BPA to help ensure the IT goals are met, including thee system is developed, implemented and fully functional prior to the end of the three-year grant award period and the compliance review process is automated. The BPA will serve as the primary author of the project's Business Requirements Document (BRD) by liaising with IT Contractors, NDA IT staff and NDA Program staff to develop this document and ensure all needs are addressed. This will enable both NDA and contracted IT developer staff to focus on the actual coding of the solution in an accelerated manner and help ensure the system design meets the business needs during each Agile sprint. The BPA consultant must perform all activities to the approved grant plan and schedule, and work must be completed according to the specifications and standards set by the State. The consultant must: Work as part of a team that includes a Project Director (PD), two software developers, NDA IT and School Nutrition program staff; Assist PD to identify and manage project risks & limitations. Assist PD with project plans. Develop the Agile project task framework necessary to meet the project deliverables Lead in daily NDA IT development team AGILE scrum meetings. Prepare business documents including: o high level functional and business requirements for software design. o business requirements document o functional requirements document o workflow diagrams and task framework o system user guide(s) for the application and claiming, AR platforms Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases. Review information and trends. Help ensure the output of processes is achieving the desired results, services are meeting agreed upon service levels. Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns. Identify issues and risks and facilitate troubleshooting and problem resolution. Bring software inconsistencies and problems to the attention of the PD and Developers Incorporate all necessary information and capabilities to complete design, development, implementation, and testing. Facilitate software testing, training and end user acceptance, and oversee rollout of the solutions, including working with over 60 institutional sponsors for testing. Assist in conducting remote workshops and providing training and guidance to end users regarding software testing and operational procedures. Maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all applicable NDA policies and procedures.
