Business Analyst Toronto, ON Contract Must-haves: Demonstrated experience in creating Business Cases, Business Requirements Document, other Business architecture artefacts, Enterprise architecture artefacts and assist Solution designer/architect in the preparation of technical artefacts including technical design Proven ability to support the client in development of check point artifacts, gating material and Enterprise Architecture artefacts Nice to Have: Public Sector experience Experience and Skill Set Requirements Experience in Enterprise Architecture Gating Experience authoring governance deliverables and seeking approvals Designing Value Chains, Value Stream Mapping, BPMN 2.0, Collaboration Diagrams, Business Context diagrams, information modeling, Business Canvas Modeling Experience completing environmental scans, reference architecture analysis, enterprise requirements analysis Experience conducting Impact & Risk Analysis (TRA, RMR) Knowledge of and experience in Change Management (ADKAR) Experience working with Agile teams, agile frameworks, burndown, & estimation Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (asset) Knowledge of Corrections EVALUATION CRITERIA: Business Architecture 40% Hands on/working 10+ years' experience in business architecture for large scale implementations including exposure to developing technical architecture Demonstrated experience in creating Business Cases, Business Requirements Document, other Business architecture artefacts, Enterprise architecture artefacts and assist Solution designer/architect in the preparation of technical artefacts including technical design Demonstrated experience working on large systems implementation and case management solutions Excellent knowledge of system concepts and development methodologies to support business applications Technical Skills 30% Experience in technical and functional design and architecture for n-tier applications Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD sessions Demonstrated experience in working with technical SMEs and business SMEs in reviewing and analysing design gaps, provide initial cost and time estimates for change requests and enhancements, assist development team in first level triaging of defects to identify solution gaps and review with business and delivery team Communications Skills 20% Demonstrated experience to provide leadership in the creation of business architecture documentation, functional and technical design documentation Proven ability to support the client in development of check point artifacts, gating material and Enterprise Architecture artefacts Hands on experience in working with business stakeholders on functional design sessions and detailed solution design sessions Tools and Methodology 10% Experience in the use of business architecture and modeling software such as Power Designer, Enterprise Architecture
