DAAS is seeking to upgrade their current case-based  Ageing Resource Management System(ARMS)  This senior Business Analyst role will work with the business and other stakeholders to support the business process analysis. The BA will use N.C. Department of Information Technology Business Analysis Team tools and templates to document requirements. The project will be utilizing the agile methodology.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

DAAS is seeking to upgrade their current case-based  Ageing Resource Management System(ARMS)  This senior Business Analyst role will work with the business and other stakeholders to support the business process analysis. The BA will use N.C. Department of Information Technology Business Analysis Team tools and templates to document requirements. The project will be utilizing the agile methodology.

 

Responsibilities:

•          Develop a strong understanding of the functions, uses and requirements for expansion of the current ARMS and Modernization Effort

•          Identifying and documenting current and state process workflows

•          Developing documents such as: Business objects inventory list Reports, email notifications and Forms List, Email Notifications/Letters Inventory List, User Stories, Permission Matrix, Wireframes

•          Gather and document business requirements suitable for procurement documentation

•          Additional development of documents may include but is not limited to entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, system context diagrams

•          Assisting in performing functional and integrated testing

•          Preparing and maintaining project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reports and user documentation

•          Working with project manager, developers, and end-users to ensure application designs meet business requirements

•          Providing UAT support, including developing test scenarios and cases using DHHS methodology

•          Supporting required system go-live activities

•          Documenting gap analysis

•          Track delivery and review/approval progress of each deliverable in accordance with approved Project Work Plan and RAM

•          Attending PMO meetings

 

Employee will perform other related work as required

The employee will travel in the local Raleigh area to attend meetings

•          Demonstrated experience participating in the documentation of functional requirements and technical specifications for existing and new applications

•          Strong writing and communication skills

•          Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and process

•          Knowledge of and experience with IT Service Management best practices and principles

•          Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project

•          Extensive understanding of SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists and groups

•          Knowledge of Ageing Resource Management if desired

•          Must have familiarity with agile methodology, tools and frameworks, i.e. scrum, Kanban
