Business Analyst
Location: Flexible for onsite in Round Rock or remote, but must be able to work Central timezone business hours
This role reports to the leader of Dell’s SRO PMO team and is "dotted line" to the portfolio manager. The business analyst (BA) works closely with the IT and security teams and drives the project activity related to the requirements specification document for the programs. Performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the project management team to prioritizes deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities. The BA understands delivery processes – Agile and hybrid – and is very analytical with problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues. Experience with O365 or VMware Horizon preferred.
Performs feasibility analysis, scopes projects, and works with the project management team to prioritizes deliverables, and negotiate on product functionalities.
Creates detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and translate it into functional specifications.
Provides analytic support by coordinating information from IT and Information Security teams
Participates in Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Functionality Testing.
Facilitates meetings and/or workshops to facilitate requirements development.
