Job Title: Brocade SAN Engineer

Job Description:

Review the sizing data to validate the new SAN designs per Data Center
Incorporate and document best practices fabric and device configuration specifications in line with Brocade best practices.
Create SAN zoning & naming standards for Kaiser Permanente Data Centers
Create high level and Low-level design of the new SAN fabrics
Create SAN zoning naming standards for Kaiser Permanente Data Centers
Document and create Storage and server connectivity templates for new SAN fabrics.
Provide best practices and configuration guidelines for ICL connectivity between SAN chassis.
Document best practice for ICL traffic in based on ASIC layout in X6 and X7 directors.
Document best practices, including security, configuration, etc for managing SAN directors with SANnav Management Portal in each DC.
Collect Brocade - SAN/NETHealth data on a regular basis to facilitate trend analysis
Perform proactive maintenance and support to optimize Brocade product environments
Understand, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve source and alternate site issues
Define, manage, and execute problem resolution plans and communicate closure/resolution to Brocade technical support, SAM, and End Users
