We are building team to join a global consultancy for one of their top enterprise clients. These roles will be testing big data models. Candidates should come from a data engineering background. These role have long term potential for significant growth. Qualified candidates will have the following experience:
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan application component validation for front-end GUIs, back-end systems, rules engines, reporting engines, and analytics engines; this includes:
Development of manual and automated testing scripts
Maintenance of test script inventory
Creation/maintenance of test data
Development/execution of performance/load testing scenarios
Coordinate with clients to ensure that requirements are valid per client expectations
Work closely with development teams using multiple development methodologies
Log and track defects to resolution
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and reading comprehension skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to manage multiple, parallel application test cycles
Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies
Experience with test execution management systems
Experience with testing databases, web based applications, and front-end GUIs
Experience with the following tools/languages: Wireshark, UFT/QTP, SOAP UI, Selenium, Log4J,SQL, Jenkins, SQL/V, Perl, Shells (bash, ksh, etc) Python, Java, Loadrunner
Experience with the following operating systems: Unix/Linux
Knowledge of Big Data concepts: Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Scala
Experience with Network Protocols: 3G, 4G
Experience with Agile Management Tools: JIRA, JIRA Align
