5 + years’ experience an Infrastructure PM
Previous experience working on a similar type of migration project
Experience with Big Data
Strong understanding of Hadoop

Experience working with Architecture, Governance , Development and Solutions Teams
Project:
Migration from Hadoop 2.6 – 3.4 moving all tenants into new environment. This resource will be building a Project Plan for the migration. This is a very large project that will consist of dozens of small subprojects. The resources will be working with multiple different business groups including governance teams, solutions teams, architecture teams and procurement team.
Day to Day:
This individual will be coordinating a collection of projects within an initiative. The role will be responsible for coordinating with multiple business owners, arranging meetings, collecting and reporting information pertinent to the projects and using this input to distill simplified portfolio readout.
Collaborate with engineering managers, technical leads and product managers to drive planning and execution of software development projects from definition to successful delivery of releases
Assist with the development and implementation of a consistent approach to project management across the engineering function
Be the single point of contact for raising new requirements, change requests and priority changes
Ensure new projects have adequate requirements, documentation, business cases, and time limits
Monitor progress against agreed dates
Agree on delivery dates with engineering and stakeholders, following estimation, task definition and resource allocation
Manage dependencies across geographically distributed teams and across projects, and coordinate issue resolution across teams
Working with technical teams to move code
Working with governance teams, solution teams, architecture teams and procurement teams
