Big Data SAP HANA Engineer San Jose, CA $70-75 Who you are: • You have the ability to work independently, prioritize individual work load, troubleshoot and remedy problems under pressing deadlines and with minimal need for escalation • You exercise good judgment and a pragmatic approach to delivering solutions that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and varying technological realities • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing design documentation, code comments, presentations and code execution. • You are customer service oriented Responsibilities: • Provide the creation of useful models to communicate current state, future state, and gap definitions in support of decision-making processes. • Consult in the refinement of existing models, adding new ideas to make the result more flexible and more tightly linked to current and expected requirements • Participates in project requirements reviews, conceptual modeling, discovery processes, technical design reviews, and project meetings in order to provide appropriate guidance that influences toward positive business outcomes. Qualifications: • 5+ years’ experience with strong SAP HANA Modeling, SQL Skills and big data with enterprise data warehousing experience • Well versed with SAP HANA Data modeling and performance optimization of various models • Design, develop, and test ETL solutions including modeling data warehouse metadata and automating data loading processes • Experience in SAP BODS • Strong experience on SQL and PLSQL • Good to have experience in Hadoop/Hive. • Well versed with Enterprises with Multi-Functional Data Sources- Marketing, Sales, Order/Invoice, Finance data, e-commerce and product usage data. • Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning services and applications and operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of systems capacity, bottlenecks, and basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks. • Should be able to take the lead and interact with US team members with minimal supervision • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology or Engineering or Related Field
