Position:AWS Solution Architect
Location:Radnor, PA
Duration:6+ Months
Must Have:
- AWS Solution Architecture experience
- Associate Certification
- Experience migrating .NET applications to AWS
- CI/CD
Essent is looking for a AWS Solutions Architect to assist them with migrating .NET applications to AWS. They are in need of in-house expertise in AWS, Chalice, Lambda, Terraform and API gateway. This person needs to have experience actually doing development as well as providing knowledge transfer to teams on AWS best practices, etc. This effort could lead to additional use cases being developed to build additional applications to slowly start to move from on premise applications to cloud apps.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with various teams within IT to provide hands-on engagement to develop, and implement reliable, secured and cost-effective cloud solutions in AWS environment
Participate with a cross department-functional team to establish a cloud operational governance framework
Lead significant production improvements, drive to achieve a high degree of automation, security, and performance management. Provide expertise and leadership in cloud services architecture and application space
Communicates effectively, works collaboratively and cooperatively with others
