DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: 
CPA’s AWS cloud footprint is currently limited. This role is expected to bring vast cloud architecture experience to guide CPA’s cloud development strategy and implement a cost effective/resilient solution. The Candidate must have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on technical experience with Amazon Web Services, .NET framework, C#, REACT JS, Node JS.  The Candidate must have a success background in architecting, developing, and implementing full stack web applications for a large organization. This position will work with the Product Owner(s), Scrum-master(s), and internal/external stakeholders to perform architecture analysis of the legacy integrated systems and draw the optimal NextGen cloud solution.
 
CPA will require the Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:
•       Research and design technology implementation to seek out a simple solution for tough business problems. 
•       Apply Amazon services knowledge to propose best and cost-effective serverless solutions leveraging CPA’s .NET programming stack.
•       Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets in working with CPA’s cloud infrastructure team; oversee build of the environment; Execute migration plan
•       Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentations
•       Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3 etc.) and tools, leveraging CPA’s existing cloud implementation design and appropriate AWS services to create scalable and resilient cloud solutions
•       Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc in working with CPA’s cloud infrastructure team
•       Work with the enterprise architect for creating the architecture and strategic blueprints ensuring alignment with CPA IT’s strategy and vision.
•       Design and implement system maintenance and future scaling as required
•       Design, architect and implement integration with internal systems and external third-party tools
•       Design the High Availability / Disaster Recovery strategies
•       Validate the environment to ensure it meets all security and compliance controls expected by the CPA’s IT Security team and CPA’s Information Security guidelines set by CPA ISO office.
•       Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in working with the internal/external customers, builds good communication protocols and updates management team with the weekly/monthly status.
•       Lead, design & implement continuous integration and continuous deployment CI-CD strategy in cloud
•       Performing extensive code reviews/analysis and ensure that the industry standards and best practices are being followed; provide analysis to address any gaps & shortcomings.
•       Providing guidance and knowledge sharing/trainings to new/existing development staff. 
•       Performs other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:

7    Required    Strong hands on experience in architecting, designing, implementing containerized web applications in AWS cloud including AWS services:S3, EC2, Lambda, Glacier, SNS, EBS, CloudFront, SQS, VPC, Kinesis, Elastic Beanstalk etc.
7    Required    Experience with full-stack .NET based web application development using AWS including even driven development
7    Required    Experience with CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AWS DevOps technologies including Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, MSBuild, and others
7    Required    Experience with programming language such as .NET, C#, and web technologies such as: HTML, CSS
5    Required    Experience with Javascript, Typescript, React.JS, NodeJS
5    Required    Experience with SQL Server and using extensive SQLs
5    Required    Experience with designing/building Micro-services
5    Required    Experience with highly complex application security requirements
5    Required    Experience with .NET Core 4.5+
2    Required    Experience with Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban
2    Required    Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
1    Required    AWS Certified Solution Architect certification: attach candidate’s AWS certification PDFs along with the resume.
7    Preferred    Experience in architecting and designing scalable enterprise wide applications including implementing security framework (eg. IAM roles, KMS etc)
5    Preferred    Developing unit tests with NUnit, xUnit, or other frameworks
5    Preferred    Experience with Kafka in AWS or RabbitMQ or similar messaging queue tool
3    Preferred    Experience with developing .NET applications using Sourcetree (Git client), Yarn package manager for node packages during development and/or deploying on Linux environment
3    Preferred    Experience using OKTA based authentication technology in AWS
2    Preferred    Experience with Jest or Enzyme 3.0+ or similar tool
