Role: AWS Redshift Developer with strong Business Analytical Skill
Location: East Coast – anywhere or Remote
· 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or Senior ETL developer in a company with large, complex data sources
· Experience working with senior decision makers, Strong communication/interpersonal skills
· Proven business analytical background in a complex data solution environment, quick learner and KT receiver so that can be SME within team and a go-to person
· Expertise in AWS , Redshift & SQL Server RDS database, optimizing, tuning queries, tables and applying business rules/logic.
· Expertise in translating business requirements into Data model and Datawarehouse layer
· Experience in developing Reporting warehouse layer for consumption based on visualization requirements.
· Proficient in SQL and ETL activities
· Experience in technology stack AWS, Redshift, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Web API
· Experience in working on Google Analytics and Firebase as source systems is preferred
· Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.
· Designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.
· Strong bonus if experience in design, develop Python based data engineering solution or pipelines in AWS Cloud Utilizing services like Redshift, S3, EC2, RDS
· Experience on Control M scheduler, Bitbucket for CI/CD is nice have.
· Work closely with business owners, developers, Business Intelligence Engineer to explore new data sources and deliver the data
· Ability to perform quick discovery work and POCs with business in data engineering tasks.
· Must have the ability to work independently
· Must have experience with Agile/Scrum and knowledge of JIRA, Confluence tools
