Job Description:
• Design and evaluate the solution in the existing landscape. The integration with existing tools, platforms and processes
• Design and define DevOps strategy for Cloud Platform specifically in Infra as Code (IaC), Application Pipeline, Data Pipeline
• Design for scalability, performance and no downtime requirements
• Review list of identified app inventory for tech refresh, dependencies, data and security for interconnected apps
• Over 5 years of expert understanding and experience in development and troubleshooting various technologies including Cloud and Systems automation, enterprise network communications/protocols, Windows and Linux authentication and authorization, Virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), enterprise networking, encryption standards, technologies and related elements
• Experience with automation technologies like Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Salt Stack, Chef, Puppet or similar
• Excellent scripting and task automation skills utilizing Python, Perl, Ruby, Java or PowerShell
• Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Container Service (ECS) etc.
• Excellent working knowledge of Linux (CentOS/RHEL) and Windows systems administration
• Hands-on experience with Java/ Spring Boot and microservices architecture style and the related design patterns.
• Hands-on experience on PostgreSQL DB and Oracle /Cassandra
• Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
• Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience migrating applications to the AWS cloud.
• Hands-on experience working with Jenkins, Octopus, GitLab or similar CI/CD platforms and Automation scripting experience with scripting languages including Shell, Bash, Perl)
• AWS Management Services experience (CloudWatch, ELB, EC2 autoscaling, CloudTrail and AWS Config), AWS workspaces, and AWS directory Services
