We are seeking an experienced and outstanding ______AWS Cloud Architect ___________ for one of our esteemed clients.

The job description is as follows:

Job Title: AWS Cloud Architect 

Contract Type: C2C

Duration: 12+ months

Start Date: in 2 weeks

Job Overview:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other AWS certifications
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification
  • Advanced expertise in large containerized computing environments utilizing Kubernetes with Docker containers for a large IT enterprise-wide environment.
  • Also detailed institutional experience and knowledge in Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud computing environments including the integration of computing technologies. This includes an understanding architecting and engineering large enterprise solutions to achieve cost efficiencies, scaling, and availability for a large enterprise environment.
  • Interactions will take place with Senior Management/architects along with interfacing with peer engineers across the enterprise.
  • Expert knowledge and experience implementing/supporting Kubernetes
  • Expert knowledge of containers and container management technologies; Docker and Kubernetes
  • Expert leveraging and managing CI/CD toolchain products like Jira, STASH, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins
  • Expert knowledge with CentOS, Alpine or other Linux derivatives
  • Strong knowledge of Public Cloud architectures, configurations, services, and solutions (Amazon Web Services Cloud Formation, EC2, ELB, S3, ASG, Cloudwatch).
  • Strong understanding of Application Architectures, microservices design, 12-factor applications
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and automation programming -- languages like Ruby, Python, Perl, BASH
  • Strong knowledge of Configuration management tools like Ansible
  • Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or other monitoring solutions
  • Experience in AWS EKS 
  • Expert knowledge of information systems concepts, system administration, and cloud platforms
