Title: Automation Tester/DevOps Duration: 1 Year + Location: Detroit, Michigan Job Description If the candidate has ran software based automation tests on hardware, we would have an interest in speaking with them. We would not be interested in a candidate that took a test plan, then manually executed those tests by pushing buttons on a screen to complete the test. As another example, if the person wrote a software-based tool that executed 150 tests when connected to the hardware and then the software generates a report once the tests are done. This would be a desirable skillset. This is your opportunity to join a team implementing an industry leading embedded CI/CD process for an android based infotainment system within our autonomous vehicles. In this position, you will be challenged with developing a process that will enable the AV infotainment team to develop and release software at an industry leading pace. This role involves managing the test execution strategy of the multiple software repositories within our CI/CD pipeline. Responsibilities: Managing and documenting the strategy related to the development and execution of automated test scripts in a CI/CD environment. Monitor the status of test scripts deployed within a CI/CD environment. Recommend strategies to improve efficiency of CI/CD Lead or join development team stand-ups to provide guidance related to automation scripts. Working with Devops infrastructure and looking at test cases they have Managing automated test cases, number of them they have active, any steps of their pipeline, getting feedback on why cases failed, working with teams that own them and infrastructure teams, if it's a infrastructure issue and why they're getting blocked CI/CD managing automation
