Position : Audio Quality Engineer Location : New Jersey – Remote is fine Contract - Become a part of our newest development project to provide Unified Communication across all platforms with Audio, Video and messaging capabilities :
- Lead Audio integration part with various vendors onto Desktop applications
- Implementing interconnect for protocols like SIP and SDP in our infrastructure
- Utilize SIP, SDP, ICE, TURN and other Call signaling protocol expertise to test and tune audio to give a world class experience
- Focus on Audio quality, resiliency, connectivity and general availability of a Phone Calling solution
- Work with various teams covering Desktop applications, Audio bridging service, Mobile applications to bring together an end-to-end solution.
- Architect changes necessary to improve every aspect of the Audio solution
- Test Audio quality items such as latency, MOS, packetization, Clipping, Background noise, Echo and other Audio qualitative parameters.
- Measuring quality parameters and qualifying them against competition
- Suggest and incorporate changes to allow seamless integration of multiple applications on a common OS.
- Uncover issues related to network, geographic distribution of service, availability of service, and suggest alternatives
- Analyze production data set and watch for any potential escapes
- Analyze production issues and get to the bottom of customer complaints
- Extract data from production stats to look for any potential bug leakages
Qualification:
BTECH or MS in Computer Science or related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in testing Telecom protocols testing like SIP/SDP, TCP/UDP, Webrtc
Experience in Media streaming, Real time media
Wireshark, Video Codecs, RTP and related protocol knowledge
Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools
Good at debugging Kubernetes and Linux infrastructure
Even Better if you have:
Experience in SDK integration, maintenance, and upgrade.
Experience working on different operating systems.
Strong design skills with a focus on Object-oriented programming.
